Learn how to make this beautiful light up jar! It’s perfect for camping in the summer or beside you as you read a book!
Materials
-clear jar
-dark coloured construction paper
-toothpick or push pin
-white pencil or marker
-LED lights
Instructions
1. Measure and cut out a piece of paper that wraps around the inside of your jar. An easy way to do this is to wrap your paper around the outside of your jar, mark where you need to cut it, and make adjustments along the way.
2. Use a pencil or white pen/marker to draw out the design. It is optional and you can free hand it as well. I did a little of both! You can sketch out your design on scrap paper beforehand too.
3. Use a toothpick or push pin (be careful!) to poke holes along your design. You can put a magazine or a piece of cork underneath to make it easier. Continue poking holes until you are done.
4. Turn your paper around. Put the paper in your jar. Put LED lights in your jar. I used two tea lights. And you’re done!
