Silvana Shamo is a former participant of the Urban Canvas Project and has been an art leader at SCYAP since 2011. Her passion is working with school programs and the drop in art centre engaging youth and adults to use art as a way to gain confidence and self-love. Silvana uses art as a tool for personal growth for her students and herself. She is a mentor, teacher, practicing artist and a true example of how to empower ones self through imagination and art.
