Felted Canadian Landscapes by Emily Krueckl
A series of 8″x 10″ mixed media landscapes inspired by the Artist’s Grandma Rachel and dedicated to Mae, who brought felting into Emily’s life.
Emily Krueckl is an expressionist artist; she mainly works with oil paint and coloured pencil and was introduced to wool felting this last year through one of her students. Krueckl fell in love with the process of felting and the way she could mimic her drawing style through loose fibres. This show is an amalgamation of Canadian landscapes collected by Krueckl from her own captured scenes and a collection of scenes provided by her loved ones.
